Add News

Musical NotesHarlow Symphony Orchestra which was formed in the early 1960's, is an amateur orchestra based in Harlow, Essex. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday during school term times at Tany's Dell Primary School, starting at 7.45pm.

Over the years the HSO has performed several concerts at a variety of venues such as St. John's Arts and Recreation Centre in Old Harlow, and The Playhouse in the town centre.

Although current membership numbers are strong, they are always looking for new players who are interested in joining the Orchestra. They currently have vacancies for a First Violin, Viola, Cello and in the brass section.

Under the leadership of Musical Director, Andrew Bruce, and Leader of the Orchestra, John Hilton, the Harlow Symphony Orchestra's aim is to encompass a wide range of music.
