Add your Christmas message to a chocolate bar

Harlow Fireworks Display 2011 will take place on Sunday 6th November 2011 at Harlow Town Park and is once again, completely free of charge.

Held in Harlow Town Park Showground, which can be found on Fifth Avenue, the Harlow Fireworks Display 2011 will this year start at 7.00pm. This has been bought forward compared to previous years to help families get home a bit earlier. It was also decided to amend the time after a number of complaints from youngsters, some through the Activ Harlow website, who were unhappy as they have to go to school the next day.

Run by the Harlow Council, the Harlow Fireworks Display is once again expected to attract between eight and ten thousand spectators as in previous years.

In addition to the fireworks, there will also be the Heart 101.7FM road show from 6.00pm, some of the stars of the Harlow Pantomime, Peter Pan, and the always popular funfair to keep everyone of all ages entertained. There also will be refreshments on site and a control tent.

 

Harlow Fireworks Timetable of Events

5.15pm Disabled Parking available at Harlow Showground until this time
5.30pm Fifth Avenue (between Sainsbury's roundabout and Edinburgh Way roundabout) will be closed
6.00pm Heart 101.7FM Road Show
6.45pm Bonfire Lit
7.00pm Fireworks Display (20mins display)
9.30pm (approx.) Fifth Avenue (between Sainsbury's roundabout and Edinburgh Way roundabout) will be re-opened


Harlow Fireworks Parking

There is no parking at the Harlow Showground. Please use one of the many town centre car parks which are only a few minutes walk away.
Disabled Parking is available at the Showground up until 5.15pm
